Please find attached the 2015/20156mini fixture list; Faraway matches will involve travelling by bus, each age group coach please let me know numbers travelling by Wednesday, so I can order the correct number of buses required. For the ‘near’ away matches, we will travel by car, and we will meet at the clubhouse beforehand, and check out numbers travelling. Each player will be expected to pay a fare for the bus, [€5] and the club will make-up the shortfall, we always have a ‘shop stop’ on these trips, players should bring a small amount of cash to spend. AWAY MATCH BUS TRAVEL - NO PHONES OR ELECTRONIC DEVISES
For every match day all players should bring the following- 1. Skibb RFC jersey [Hourihane Sports], white shorts, red & white hooped socks. 2. Full set of dry clothes to change into after the match. 3. Towel. 4. Plastic bag for wet/dirty gear. 5. Gumshield. 6. Lunch and a drink. A home ‘blitz or ‘club day’ involves hosting team[s], and after these matches we extend hospitality to the travelling clubs, by providing refreshments. I would like each parent on theses days to bring in sandwiches, and leave them upstairs in the clubhouse kitchen. For the kitchen rota, we require 4 people for each of the Saturdays’ that we have a home match; you will be contacted to help.
Please let Sharon know if you would be able to join the kitchen rota 087-6665241.
Any questions on the above please contact the Mini Co-ordinator
Kind regards
Skibb Mini Rugby Skibbereen RFC Mini 2015/16 Season Match Days
Dear parent / guardian, This season Sharon Murphy has kindly agreed to oversee the running of the kitchen, we wish her the best of luck, but help will be required. This season each age group will provide 4 people to assist in the kitchen, a rota will be set up when the fixtures are announced, the Under 8’s will do the 1st home match - the Under 9’s do the 2nd - and so on ...... The coaches will organise. We would also like to change the content of the food for after the matches, over the years sugar has taken over, ie: buns, cakes and chocolate. We would prefer, this season to go back to sandwiches, fruit, with a small amount of ‘sweet stuff’, Sharon will advise. Check with your coach for details.
Kind regards
