Flag Day 2015
The annual Mini Flag Day takes place on Saturday 11th April next so you are getting plenty of advance notice. Once again for it to be a success it will require quite a few volunteers at the venues. Ideally the tables at each of the 5 venues will require 2 or more people in attendance at all times so that will require quite a few names to cover all the slots.
This year for a change to our usual Flag-day routine, each 'venue' will be looked after by a specific age group section - so coaches and parents of the various sections do take note of your 'venue' and recruit your volunteers early.The venues are colour-coded for clarity.
Your support is needed to help raise much needed funds for the Minis and Underage sections. This is also a special appeal to parents of all kids attending training and is your opportunity to play a part in making the Flag Day a success. So don't just leave it to the Coaches and committee members - if everyone plays their part the Club benefits enormously - especially the kids.
